    Wojciech Weiss (May 4, 1875, Leorda, Romania – December 7, 1950, Kraków, Poland) was a prominent Polish painter, draughtsman, and printmaker. He was a leading figure of the Young Poland movement and a member of the Vienna Secession.

    Weiss initially trained in historical painting under Jan Matejko at the Kraków Academy of Fine Arts but was later influenced by Stanislaw Przybyszewski and switched to Expressionism and Symbolism. ...
