Yampier Sardina studied in Escuela Elemental de Artes Plásticas 20 de Octubre and in Academia Nacional de Artes Plásticas San Alejandro, both in Havana, Cuba. He was Arturo Montoto's disciple, with whom he participated in a number of mural projects.


He lives and works in Miami. In his work, it can be observed the maturity of one that has fully realized his vocation as a painter and the security of whom has given himself completely to the study, technique, reflection and contemplation. His work consists of a revision that is both personal and collective, subjective and concrete, of places, actions and everyday objects, to reveal them in their raw reality, maybe to tell the best possible story.
