    Unmi Min Yeong-ik was a politician and literary painter who was active from the late Joseon Dynasty to the modern period. He established his own unique style, especially in the paintings of Mukran. His struggles, known as “Unminan,” were evaluated as the best of his time, along with Seokpa, Lee Haeung's “Seokpanan” (?? ???, 1820-1898). His mukrando, which is handed down in various ways, depicts egg leaves in a traditional way, but usually does not have daggers and three jeons, and has a blunted egg leaf as in his works. In particular, the depiction of an egg leaf that rises in a straight line using non-muk and bends in a shape is an original style of Min Young-ik.
