    Yitzhak Danziger (1916 – 1977)

    An important Israeli sculptor, draftsman, painter and educator, Yitzhak Danziger (aka: Itzhak Danziger) was born in Berlin, Germany, moved to Jerusalem with his family when he was 7 years old, and died in an auto accident near Ramla. His works are in the permanent collections of the Israel Museum, Jerusalem; the Jewish Museum, New York; and the British Museum, London, England. His commissioned monumental sculptures and memorials are located in public spaces throughout Israel. His work was featured in the Museum of Modern Art (New York) exhibition “Art Israel” which toured the U.S.A. and Canada in 1964.
