Born in Taipei in 1953, he is currently live in Shanghai. His works are marked by his ability of translate melancholy in the landscape as in traditional Chinese ink paintings. Even so, he is not a traditional painter. He fuses bright colors into black and white sceneries to create surreal atmosphere.

He has participated in many important exhibitions locally and internationally. In 2001, he participated in Xin Xing - group exhibition of Chinese Contemporary Art which traveled to Beijing Art Museum, Shanghai Art Museum, Si-Chuan Art Museum, and Guangdong Art Museum.
