Angelos Giallina was born in Corfu in 1857 and died there in 1939. Gaillina was a painter with a special love for landscapes and with an exceptional expertness in the technique of watercolor. He began his studies with Haralambo Pahi in Corfu and continued them in Venice, Rome and Naples. In his earlier works, his painting of cities are influenced by the Italian's Vendutisti, but his interest in watercolors was greater and through this technique he offered some of his most complete expressions....
