Carl Olaf Erickson. Erickson was a member of the Swedish-American Art Association as well as the North Shore Art League in Winnetka, Illinois. He exhibited at the Sheridan Beach Hotel, the Illinois Academy of Art, and the Michigan Avenue art show in Chicago. Many of his paintings were purchased and exhibited at hotels and business offices in and around Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. There is a permanent collection of his work at the Stevens Hotel in Chicago and also in several Springfield, IL legislation offices.
