Mark Coreth was born in 1956, in the United Kingdom. He spent most of his childhood in Kenya which fostered a lasting interest in nature and the animal world. Although Mark Coreth has had no formal artistic training, he ardently pursued an interest in sculpting. While serving as an army officer, Mark had his first solo show with Sladmore Gallery, London in 1986. He became a full time sculptor following his retirement from military service in 1993. Although Mark Coreth has had no formal artistic training, he ardently pursued an interest in sculpting. While serving as an army officer, Mark had his first solo show with Sladmore Gallery, London in 1986. He became a full time sculptor following his retirement from military service in 1993. Since then, Mark has gone on to have shows in London, New York, and Paris. Mark Coreth's work captures the movement, grace and power of its subject.
