In the late 1880's, she studied at the Women's Academy of Munich’s Künstlerinnenverein under Ludwig von Herterich. She also exhibited at the Vienna Künstlerhaus, as well as in Munich and Leipzig. In 1902, after a stay in Nuremberg, she again lived in Vienna. She was included in the circle around Gustav Klimt and the secessionists.
