Residing in La Valletta in Malta, he also interned there during the 1st World War. He then made the acquaintance of Fritz Leopold Henning-Danzig (1895-1951), who teaches him in oil painting. Residing in La Valletta in Malta, he also interned there during the 1st World War. He then made the acquaintance of Fritz Leopold Henning-Danzig (1895-1951), who teaches him in oil painting. After WW1, he began training at the School of painting by Moritz Heymann in Munich. Until 1938, the artist spent his winter's with regular stays in Malta. Additionally, Furst spent some time as a German teacher, among other things. He worked for Lord Louis Mountbatten, and was a permanent resident in Munich in 1938.
