Kambudzi was born in the housing development area of Seke in Harare, Zimbabwe, in 1978. An artist from childhood, he underwent a three-year art training at the Visual Arts studios of the National Gallery in Mbare before beginning a fruitful association with Gallery Delta in Harare where he received further training and exhibition space. Apart from brief trips abroad, Kambudzi has remained rooted in his home city committed to recording the minutiae of everyday life for the people of Zimbabwe.
