Nino Bertoletti started painting very young and devoted himself to painting as soon as he finished his studies, with a more personal than academic training. He made his debut in 1909 at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in Rimini. In 1911 in Rome he exhibited at the Cinquantenaire Exhibition and took part in the 1st Exhibition of the Roman Secession. He made his debut in 1909 at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in Rimini. In 1911 in Rome he exhibited at the Cinquantenaire Exhibition and took part in the 1st Exhibition of the Roman Secession. Around 1913 he took up his studio in Villa Strohl-fern, where he remained for about three years. After the war he exhibited at the II Roman Biennale (1923), proving to be sensitive to the climate of the "return to order", in a neoclassical declination.
