He then drew several drawings of Olga Lanner's (1884-1961) younger brother, Bengt Otto (1890-1955). Bauer's future wife, Ester Ellqvist (1880-1918), was also painted by Bengt Otto. He then became a sailor and had a home at Luntmakargatan 48 in Stockholm. The Bauer parents then named their son Bengt-Olof.
