She completed her studies between 1982 and 1986 at the Art Academy in Münster as a student of Norbert Tadeusz and John Brus. In 1986 Katharina Grosse studied at the Academy in Dusseldorf in the class of Graubner, who accepted her as a master student. In 1990, she concluded the study.
