He is one of those painters attached to depict the sentimental pictures that can be found in the early twentieth century country style outskirts of Paris. The titles of his paintings reflect this tendency: Le Moulin de la Galette, Montmartre. He is all devoted to Montmartre. There he painted: La Basilique and La Rue Saint Andre del Sarte. There he met Maurice Utrillo, and became his master. Utrillo enjoyed Quizet style so much that he started to paint the same subjects, using the same colors and techniques.
