Lindorm Liljefors was a dedicated naturalist and the talented and skilled artist who constantly found himself being compared to his father, the successful and famous Bruno Liljefors. Lindorm grew up in the Stockholm archipelago and on Österbybruk's manor in Roslagen. He and his father shared the feeling and love for nature, both the wild nature - the forest - and the more culturally cultivated landscape. Lindorm studied at the Stockholm Academy of the Arts during the years 1928-1933 and then went to France, which tradition offered to the young artists of the time. Once back home, he settled in the Uppland nature and found between Skyttorp and Österbybruk, the croft Bockbol. There he set up his studio, but the croft also became the center... Read full biography

He and his father shared the feeling and love for nature, both the wild nature - the forest - and the more culturally cultivated landscape. Lindorm studied at the Stockholm Academy of the Arts during the years 1928-1933 and then went to France, which tradition offered to the young artists of the time. Once back home, he settled in the Uppland nature and found between Skyttorp and Österbybruk, the croft Bockbol. There he set up his studio, but the croft also became the center of Lindorm's hunting activities.
