He was artistically trained at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts in Madrid and developed a flat brushstroke style that is classic in its composition and modern in its technique. Luque held various exhibitions in galleries in New York, Chicago, Paris, Montpelier, Madrid, and Valencia, as well as at the United States Embassy in Madrid. He has also taken part in artistic competitions and has been awarded prizes for his watercolor work. His work is currently represented in the Army Museum in Madrid and the Monpellier Museum in France, as well as in numerous private collections.
