In 1944, he went back to Kiev and attended the Shevchenko National Art School. He then completed studying under the tutelage of Tetyana Yablonska at the Art Academy in Kiev. From 1965 to 1968, he studied at the Moscow School of Art. Since the time he lived and exhibited in New York, he gained international recognition.... Read full biography

From 1965 to 1968, he studied at the Moscow School of Art. Since the time he lived and exhibited in New York, he gained international recognition. Works by Turovsky are presented in major museum collections, including the Ukrainian National Art Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the Yad Vashem Memorial Art Museum in Jerusalem and the Cornell University in New York....
