Returning to Shanghai, he devoted himself to art, exhibiting his oil paintings of the Chinese countryside, seagoing junkets, and portraits. About 25 miles north of Paris nestled in a little village is the Eglise Sainte Genevieve Church in the Montlognon area of France. Here in 1966, on the church grounds, Constantine Kluge was taken by and captured the brilliant and fragrant springtime display of cherry trees in bloom!
