Immigrating to the United States from the Bahamas, Maxwell Taylor has had a 30-year career as a senior designer for the Bahamian Pottery, and the Chelsea Pottery in the Bahamas. He currently (2008) lives in Orangeburg, South Carolina. His work includes woodcuts, ceramics, linoleum prints and watercolors.
