Abraham Daniel was a Jewish artist born in Bath who worked as an engraver, jeweler, and miniaturist. He and his brothers were taught miniature painting by their mother. Abraham and his brother Joseph became competing miniature artists in Bath, both advertising themselves as "Mr. Daniel of Bath." Abraham's works are not usually signed, but there is a signed miniature of Rabbi Moses of Plymouth attributed to him
