He then moved to Cracow, where he became friends with the painter Joseph Leski. He studied painting at the Fine Art Academy in Cracow together with Joseph Pankiewicz and in 1910, he moved to Paris and exhibited in the official Salons as well as in Belgium, where the State acquired one of his oil paintings. He studied painting at the Fine Art Academy in Cracow together with Joseph Pankiewicz and in 1910, he moved to Paris and exhibited in the official Salons as well as in Belgium, where the State acquired one of his oil paintings. Weinbaum traveled frequently to Lodz, Poland. In 1940 he moved to Marseilles with his wife and daughter. On January 22, 1943 they were arrested and interned in Compiegne, later transferred to Drancy.
