In the early eighties he abandoned abstraction to create a style of atmospheric urban landscapes. He held his first solo exhibition at the Guadiaro gallery in Bilbao in 1979, and in 1996 he began his international projection with his solo show at the Line Art gallery in Ghent, Belgium. Since then he has exhibited in Spain, as well as in France, Italy, the United States and Germany. He is currently a member of the Sala Parés group in Barcelona.
