In 1962, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. In 1966, he was appointed as the chief stage designer of the Grand Theater in Warsaw, a position he held until 2005. During this time, he began his international career and collaborated with leading opera houses around the world. He was also involved in easel painting throughout his career. Kreutz-Majewski passed away in 2011 in Warsaw.
