These qualities pull the viewer into the landscapes. Inman studied under master painter Arlo Coles while attending Ricks College. From working with Coles, he found he loved vibrant colors and beautiful landscapes. He started by painting on location, but then found he preferred the studio setting where he could concentrate on each element in his paintings. Inman grew up with an artist for a father and was therefore exposed to the art world at a young age.
