Bolong Hei was a Chinese artist born in Linqing, Shandong. He graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts in 1936. In 1946, Bolong founded Nanhua Art and Sports College in Jinan, where he served as the director of the art department and a professor of Jinan Chinese Art College. Bolong also taught at Shandong Art College and later at Shandong Art Institute.
