Casimiro Tomba was a Roman artist who was known for his genre painting and watercolour works. He exhibited frequently in Rome, Turin and Bologna and was particularly highly regarded for his finished watercolours of Orientalist or genre subjects. In 1928, he wrote and illustrated a small book entitled Via Margutta e gli artisti. Despite the modest success he achieved in his lifetime, Tomba remains little known today.
