Charles Frederick Buckley, a native of Cork, relocated to London c.1840. He specialized in landscape and figure painting in oil and watercolor painting subjects in Ireland and throughout the UK. He exhibited regularly at the Suffolk Street Galleries of the Royal Society of British Artists from 1841-1869. Examples of his works can be found in the Victoria and Albert Museum, among others.
