Chase Chen was born in China around 1964. He lived in China until the early 80's when, with funds provided by his mother who had migrated to the USA, he himself moved to the USA. His early artistic training and development took place in China. Then, when he moved to the New York, he spent a lot of time at the Metropolitan Museum and formed a serious determination to become a full time artist. Then, when he moved to the New York, he spent a lot of time at the Metropolitan Museum and formed a serious determination to become a full time artist. He has been working from a studio in California for the past ten years or so. His work has been sold through galleries in California, New York, Colorado, Hong Kong and elsewhere. His work has reached the auction market in Hong Kong. His style is partly realism and partly impressionistic. He paints lovely pictures of women in various poses with... Read full biography
