Dang Xuan Hoa was born in 1959. Deng Xuan Hoa graduated from the Hanoi College of Fine Arts in 1983. Along with other reputable artists, they formed a collective which was known as the “Gang of Five”, whose works were influenced by a changing Vietnam after the Doi Moi policy, which implemented a series of economic reforms initiated in 1986.
