His career as an artist started during the 60s when he partecipated in numerous collective expositions and personal ones especially in Milan. In 1978 Becheroni left Italy and moved to Brasil. His taste and work were then inspired by the untouched nature and especially fine wood quality for its sculptures. After an expedition in the Amazon forest, he recovered some tree trunks saved from the flames of a fire, and he realized high sculptures symbolizing the nature's suffering due to men activities.
