In 1927 Fritsch received the Grand State Prize for painters from the AdK Berlin. In 1937, eight of Fritsch's paintings from public collections were branded as degenerate and destroyed. In 1946 Ernst Fritsch was appointed professor by the HfBK Berlin. In 1953 he took over the management of art education and the management of the master class in this department....
