In 1961 he began his exhibition career, since he made his first solo exhibition, which took place in the Caja de Ahorros Provincial in Velez-Malaga. Later he moved to Madrid to begin studying at the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando. Where he stayed for a year. However, after leaving the academy he continued his self-taught training as he went to the prado as a copyist, and also worked for a while in a graphic workshop where he appreciated different techniques.
