Fernando Labrada was born in Periana (Malaga) in 1888. He died in Madrid in 1977. His education began at the School of Fine Arts in Malaga. Thanks to a state pension in 1909, he moved to Rome. In 1913 he settled in Madrid where he became professor of the School of Fine Arts. In 1936 he entered the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando. He has exhibited his works not only in Spain but also in France, Italy and Germany receiving numerous medals.
