Through Ludwigsburg Dean Christlieb, the youth participated two years later with drawing lessons at the industrial training school in Ludwigsburg, followed by painting and varnishing studies there. Friedrich Von Keller was born in 1840 in Neckarweihingen. Even as a ten year old, Friedrich von Keller created his work "stormy atmosphere on a rocky coast," which showed his artistic talent. Through Ludwigsburg Dean Christlieb, the youth participated two years later with drawing lessons at the industrial training school in Ludwigsburg, followed by painting and varnishing studies there. It was thanks to a scholarship in 1867 to the Stuttgart art school that he managed the financially austere prayer Teten. Friedrich studied history painting since 1871 from William of Lindenschmit (1829 to 1895) in Munich. By studying the old masters in the Pinkotheken he felt strong connection to landscape painting. Through Ludwigsburg Dean Christlieb, the youth participated two years later with drawing lessons at the industrial training school in Ludwigsburg, followed by painting and varnishing studies there. It was thanks to a scholarship in 1867 to the Stuttgart art school that he managed the financially austere prayer Teten.
