In 1922, he joined the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia and exhibited in Moscow. Lavroff continued his artistic training in Paris between 1927 and 1935, exhibiting animal subjects in bronze and ceramics at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Indépendants.
