As a professor of oil painting in place Iakovidis from 1910 deviated from the academic trends (you integrated standard Standards Code) concerned mainly for the renewal of teaching by imposing greater freedom. [1]. The Roilos studied painting first at the School of Arts (the later the School of Fine Arts in Athens, with teacher Nikiforos Litra. In 1888 he went on a scholarship in Munich to continue his studies near Nikolaos Gizis.
