From 1948 to 1951, Vent did training as Baumaler in Weimar. 1953-58, art studies at the KHS Berlin-Weissensee Toni Mau, Kurt Robbel, Bert Heller and Gabriele Mucchi, then freelance. From 1976 to 1981, he taught at the KHS Berlin-Weissensee, was a member of the VBK, and verfertigte next paintings and prints numerous murals.
