Sadly, he recently passed in March of 2018 at the age of 95. When I asked him when he was in his early 90’s if he was still painting everyday, he replied “yes” but not as much as before because it interfered with his golf!. He was trained at the New England School of Art and then served with the Coast Guard in World War II. He worked as a commercial artist in Boston for 41 years, the last 8 at his Design Center, Inc in Boston. He retired from graphic design and commercial art in 1986, and moved to Cape Cod and started his fine art career in earnest. He works in oil and watercolor in a realist style... Read full biography
