In his works, pictures become an expression of individual self, of personal imagination, and of self consciousness only exists in day dreaming and self meditation. Most of his paintings depict a subtle situation between unhappy and suffering. There is a forming process upon boy's image in his paintings. In his works, pictures become an expression of individual self, of personal imagination, and of self consciousness only exists in day dreaming and self meditation. Most of his paintings depict a subtle situation between unhappy and suffering. There is a forming process upon boy's image in his paintings. From a flying boy like shooting stars at the very beginning, to one with rabbit ears and tails. During five years of experiment, Li finally returned to a more realistic image with, however, more complicated and subtle expression. This, ultimately, became Li's personal trait after 1970s....
