He enjoyed painting which were mostly in oil landscapes. Whether he actually visited those places or painted from pictures I am not sure of. According to my mother, his granddaughter, he sold many pictures unsigned in order to earn money therefore there may be some pictures out there that he painted but are signed by others, or not...
