His work is the result of cultivating customary themes born on two continents, since his multiple trips due to exile due to wars, broadened his plastic panorama. However, despite the fact that he identified with the ideas of Mexican muralism, he opted for his own path, since his strong personality allowed him to preserve his Spanish identity, overcoming all influences. It was thus that his unmistakable realistic style adapted well to the circumstances and he produced a long series of portraits, landscapes and still lifes, as well as costumbrista themes and Latin festivals with characters...
