Julio Ferrá is a Chiapaneco painter, muralist and teacher whose work has been dedicated mostly to the issues of education. Throughout his career he has realized hundreds of murals in diverse establishments of the Secretariat of Public Education, where he has given classes and specialized workshops. He has worked as a researcher at the National Institute of Fine Arts and collaborated as a museographer at the Palacio de Bellas Artes. At the moment he works as head of the culture department of the Álvaro Obregón delegation, where he trains young people in the various pictorial techniques to later carry out public works.
