Julius (T-Kid) Cavero, also known as Terrible Kid-170, was a graffiti artist from New York who was wounded in a gang shooting in 1977. While convalescing in the hospital, he decided to become T-Kid and began repainting the lines of the New York subway with his unique style of graffiti lettering enriched with characters inspired by pop culture. He went on to become one of the spearheads of original graffiti and has exhibited his work around the world.
