From 1887, Boehme was a master student with Gustav Schönleber. Karl Theodore Boehme undertook extensive study trips, including to Norway, Italy (here above mainly on Capri and in Liguria), France, England, Malta, Bornholm and Rügen. From 1887, Boehme was a master student with Gustav Schönleber. There, he began sending exhibitions in Munich from 1891, including the Glaspalast and in 1937-39 the great German art exhibitions in the Haus der German art.
