Born in Copenhagen in 1974, Kasper Sonne studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Since then he has been working as a freelance artist in the fields of painting, sculpture and installation. Works by Sonne are part of the Franks-Suss Collection, among others. He lives and works in Brooklyn in New York City. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Kasper Sonne received his BA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2000. He now lives and work in Brooklyn, New York. Sonne describes his TXC series as "a way to oppose the perfect monochrome painting," introducing conflict to a serene surface by deliberating pouring pure bleach on a painting.
