A mix-media sculptor of animals, Linda Raynolds grew up overseas exposed to a wide variety of cultures. After undergraduate studies in anthropology, she pursued sculpture at New York's Art Students League with Sidney Simon. She joined the Phoenix Gallery and was part of a cooperative of sculptors with studios. In the Spring of 2003, Raynolds was chosen to participate in Casper's "Where the Buffalo Roam." After undergraduate studies in anthropology, she pursued sculpture at New York's Art Students League with Sidney Simon. She joined the Phoenix Gallery and was part of a cooperative of sculptors with studios. In the Spring of 2003, Raynolds was chosen to participate in Casper's "Where the Buffalo Roam." Her life-size fiberglass buffalo cow, containing a sculpted calf within, was auctioned to support the Nicolaysen Art Museum. Her work is in the collection of the Buffalo Bill Historical Center at Cody, Wyoming and is a member of the Society of Animal Artists. Source:. Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale, 2003
