Ludwig Lange was a German architect, landscape and architecture draughtsman, who originally came from Darmstadt. He studied in Göttingen and Munich, and he went on a number of study journeys to Greece. Later, he taught at the new royal Gymnasium in Athens (Greece), and was named government building officer at the Royal Academy of Art in Munich.
