Feiler became a painter, designer and illustrator From 1939-43 he was a student of Plauen Art School, where he was sponsored by Kurt Geipel and Walter Löbering. In 1943, Feiler served in the military during World War II and suffered severe injuries. After 1945, he held temporary employment as an advertising designer and designer for textile companies. Feiler became a painter, designer and illustrator From 1939-43 he was a student of Plauen Art School, where he was sponsored by Kurt Geipel and Walter Löbering. In 1943, Feiler served in the military during World War II and suffered severe injuries. After 1945, he held temporary employment as an advertising designer and designer for textile companies. He was a freelance artist from 1952 with painting stays in Venice and Mallorca.
