Both her grandmothers, her mother, and her sister were born to be artists. Mary began studying art formally when she returned to school. She went on to achieve her BFA in Fine Arts at Southwest Texas State in San Marcos, Texas (presently renamed Texas State University). She and husband, Jon, live in the Hill country of Texas, and have two sons. Mary works at her...

Both her grandmothers, her mother, and her sister were born to be artists. Mary began studying art formally when she returned to school. She went on to achieve her BFA in Fine Arts at Southwest Texas State in San Marcos, Texas (presently renamed Texas State University). She and husband, Jon, live in the Hill country of Texas, and have two sons. Mary works at her home studio, and displays her work in Wimberley. She also is co-owner of an artist co-op in Wimberley.
